I was invited to curate public dance practice at the Annenberg Community Beach House in Santa Monica for Beach Dances 2019. Here’s what I had to say about how I went about picking these particular artists.

Presented by Santa Monica Cultural Affairs and Rhizomatic Arts, Beach Dances: Shared Practice is a week of site-responsive works and shared practice by local choreographers, plus a community potluck hangout for artists and their allies. All are invited to FREE open rehearsals, performances and participatory movement workshops featuring:
